About  Patrece

Growing up in Joplin, MIssouri, Patrece's parents were the influence that sparked her interest in design.  Her father built spec homes in his spare time, and her mother chose the house plans to build.  Patrece pored over house plans for hours at a time and carefully evaluated her favorites based on possibilities of furniture placement, closet space, and efficiently- arranged kitchens.

A firm believer in "beauty is where you find it,"  she gathers inspiration everywhere- from nature to fashion to her travels throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Her spaces are unfussy, well-appointed, and designed with restored and repurposed elements, keeping character in mind.

Patrece graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1998.  Nearly twenty years later, she decided to pursue her life-long passion for Interior Design, and attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas.  Now, she also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design with a Minor in Construction.

She is a certified Green Professional with the National Home Builder's Association as well as a LEED Green Associate.  She is a member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).

Event design, flower arranging, landscape photography, playing with her three rescue dogs, and traveling with her husband Bryan, are a few of Patrece's other passions.
